A place built with love (and SO much hard work). No matter what, this will always be, to so many of us, the Foxboro Senior Center

The end of an era.

However, I think that Lorraine Garland, God rest her soul, and Gerry Rodman, God rest his soul — and everyone who help make the senior center a reality back in 1998 after SO much effort and time — is smiling because the reason for the move is the place became a home for so much more in addition to a senior center, and now provides so much more for the community of all ages.

The one constant is change.

The new community center on Mechanic will be a great thing and I’m very happy about it. But in my heart no matter what this building becomes every single time I pass by it I think to myself there is the Foxboro senior center.
